Here is my own coverage of the Yerevan mayoral election, some satirical and some serious, because Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert weren't available; and because this election is important to Armenia, so everyone needs to make as big a noise as possible with the tools one has:

Above all, I wish for a free and fair election, without bribes and without violence. Is it too much to ask? One can hope the answer is "no," but....

Hypocrisy:
"Therefore, no matter how much pressure is put on us, we will never allow the establishment of the joint commission of Armenian and Turkish historians, nor shall we give our agreement to any solution, in which Karabagh's right to self-determination is trampled on. "

what a joke. It was LTP himself who encouraged TARC and the desire for some joint historical commission to look into this.

who else recalls that while he and his filth were whooping it up, the 'eternal' flame at Tzitzernakaberd was allowed to extinguish? Poignant.

How was Levon backing TARC? Tarc was established in 2001, Levon was out of office by then, and Kocharian was president. Levon never said anything about TARC. Get your facts right.
