The Civilitas Foundation has been sending out emails, introducing itself, its goals and principles, to all different sorts of people. This includes diasporan armenians, and non armenians. In fact, I know of a case of two business partners in Armenia, let's call them A and B, who use B's personal email for the business (with emails signed by B only). The email from Civilitas went to the business email, but addressed to A. A little odd...a foreign embassy (as one of the partner's has foreign citizenship), the PeaceCorps (which works under the US government), and ProjectHarmony, which has of recent been swallowed up into the Armenia Government.
How did Civilitas get a hold of that email address, and that name?
Nice office by the way. Beautiful view, and decor! Great taste. I suppose the art-deco provides an environment that helps drown out the memories of what truly happened in that city, that view in particular.
I downloaded these pictures from the Civilitas Foundation website. There are many more to be viewed, if you're interested.

Sipping wine and enjoying the view, these educated, intelligent people.
So, these are the current 'movers' and 'shakers' of the state controlled Armenian political/cultural elite?
It sure seems so, though I wonder if the list of folks/organizations mentioned as their partners and honorary board members really know what they're about...
Maybe I'm missing something- but seeing an organization founded by people who stood side by side with those bloodied their hands on March 1, seeing them serve high tea with crumpets to what is presented as the higher echelon of Armenian society, does NOT soothe my angered soul...
It is just a cozy retirement package for Oskanian for his services to the bandidocracy. It is a fake outfit, a social club, one of the many bullshit NGOs based on grant handouts.
It may be cozy and a fake, but it is hardly part of a retirement package. The esteemed former foreign minister has embarked on a new mission.
For the sake of what's left of human dignity in the citizens of Armenia, let us hope he will be as ineffective in his new mission as he was in his former one.

You all know the novel, Alice in Wonderland. Oskanyan is like the tin man, with one difference. The tin man asked for help from the Wizard of Oz...Oskanyan on the other hand?
Shame on you, Oskanyan . Shame on all those people who are on the Civilitas Board. You are a disgrace!
